Special Issues devoted to important topics in operational research will occasionally be published. IJOR publishes original papers, review papers, technical notes, and book reviews. IJOR is a forum to help professionals, academics, researchers and practitioners, working in the field of operations research theory and applications in the emerging economy and society, to discuss of important ideas, concepts and disseminate information and to learn from each other's work. IJOR aims to act as a forum for exchanging innovative ideas and sharing practical experiences in teaching and learning of operations research theory, models and applications. The global dimension is emphasised in developing operational research theory and applications to meet the accelerating technological changes and changes in global economy. IJOR aims to help professionals working in the field of operations research, academic educators, industry consultants, and practitioners to contribute, to disseminate and to learn from each other’s work.
